As a Life Member or a Friend
Participation in Keepers of the Green is available in two main categories:
Life Membership is offered at a one-off fee of £650 (inc VAT) which includes 5 specially commissioned hickory clubs and Auld Tom Morris bag. There is also an
annual subscription of £25 and the option of a further donation. Please click on this

This category entitles you to participate in all "Keepers" general and social activities and play in all events, including the Spring and Autumn Meetings on one of St Andrews seven courses. Opportunities also exist for members to participate in events organised by our Chapters in the USA and Canada. Members also receive a silver hall-marked lapel pin with our official logo and are entitled to purchase a specially commissioned tie.
Members are also eligible to attend and vote at our AGM and Policy
Meetings. Life membership is available to individuals, organisations, societies, companies. (Please note that, in the latter three categories of membership, there is a specific requirement for them to nominate one individual who is eligible to vote on behalf of the society, company etc. on each occasion).
Friends of Keepers:
This category is available for a one-off contribution (£100) with no annual subscription.
"Friends" are invited to attend any of our wheelchair presentations and are welcome to join us for Dinner and Presentation of Prizes in the St Andrews Golf Club, after each of our annual Spring and Autumn Meetings. If you wish, you may also be invited, as a guest, to play with hickory clubs in one of our Meetings.
A framed certificate to acknowledge your support will be presented to you and you will be entitled to purchase the lapel pin and tie.
Minutes of our quarterly meetings, held in the St Andrews Golf Club, will be emailed to you, on request, to keep you in touch with developments. Any suggestions or ideas you may have will also be considered at future meetings of the Policy Committee.
The Keepers of the Green Foundation.
The Foundation – as a registered charity (SCO 33783) – is our vehicle for accepting and using donated funds and has, over the years, discovered many Members, "Friends", or just kindred spirits, ready to help us in our quest to provide powered wheelchairs. This doesn't always involve financial contributions and we are equally keen to receive recommendations for someone in need or just general support for our cause. This approach has enabled us to broaden the interest, appeal and effectiveness of "Keepers".
